Job Description

We are working with a leading mid-cap infrastructure investor looking to hire into its Sustainable Infrastructure team.

The platform has built a strong position in UK energy transition, with particular strength in battery storage, solar, and grid flexibility, and is now entering a new phase of growth following a recent strategic acquisition, expanding both its platform and geographic reach.

This is a hands-on role within a lean, high-performing team, offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to execution and ongoing asset management. The team operates in a mid-market environment, focusing on platform-building and portfolio construction rather than purely large-scale auction processes.

The role:

  • Build and review detailed financial models to support investment decisions
  • Support the execution of transactions across energy transition and infrastructure assets
  • Prepare investment materials and contribute to IC discussions
  • Work closely with asset management teams to monitor and optimise portfolio performance
  • Gain exposure to origination and sector research across energy transition themes

Candidate profile:

  • 2–4 years’ experience
  • Background in infrastructure investing or relevant investment banking
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Exposure to energy, infrastructure, or real assets is advantageous
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in energy transition and mid-market investing
  • Full UK Working Rights (this role cannot sponsor)

Why consider this opportunity:

  • Join a growing platform with strong momentum in energy transition
  • Genuine end-to-end exposure across the investment lifecycle
  • Lean team structure with direct access to senior decision-makers
  • Opportunity to take on real responsibility early in your career

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a more entrepreneurial environment while maintaining exposure to high-quality investments and gaining broader responsibility.
