We are currently recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to join a SEN School in Rhondda Cynon Taf. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils of different ages and abilities in a single, welcoming school environment, helping them achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role
You will provide valuable classroom support for pupils with additional learning needs. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional needs
Providing one-to-one and small-group support across primary or secondary age groups
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create an inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, ALNCO/SENCO, and support staff to meet individual pupil needs
Adapting confidently to classroom routines and school expectations
Free Cover Supervisor Training Opportunity
We also offer a free 2-hour Cover Supervisor training course. Once completed, you will be able to work as a Cover Supervisor, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. This is a great way to expand your experience and increase your earning potential.
Cover Supervisor pay: £120 per day

Patient, caring, and understanding of individual learning needs
Passionate about supporting children and young people to overcome barriers to learning
Flexible, reliable, and confident in a school setting
Able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Experienced working with children or young people in an educational or support setting
Requirements
Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support for obtaining:
Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
References covering two years of employment
