Drive growth for a leading international airline

Our client is looking for a commercially driven Airline Sales Manager to lead sales performance across the UK for a well-established global airline.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll manage key travel trade relationships, grow corporate and leisure accounts, and drive revenue through strategic sales and market development.


The Role

You’ll take ownership of a key airline portfolio, leading sales strategy, managing performance and identifying new business opportunities across the UK market.

Working closely with internal teams and international stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in shaping sales plans, pricing strategies and market growth.


Airline Sales Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow corporate and leisure travel accounts
  • Develop and deliver sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Build strong relationships with travel trade partners and key stakeholders
  • Managing a team of 4 (Sales exec, Sales support and 2 reservations agents)
  • Deliver sales presentations, training and product updates to agents
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends and performance data
  • Support pricing, promotional campaigns and commercial deals
  • Represent the airline at industry events, roadshows and trade shows
  • Analyse sales performance and provide insights and reporting


Airline Sales Manager key skills and experience:

  • Experience in airline sales, account management within a TMC or airline
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving targets
  • Strong knowledge of the travel trade and airline distribution
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical ability
  • Confident managing stakeholders and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events


Airline Sales Manager Additional Info:

  • Salary up to £45k per year + Performance related bonus
  • Benefits include: 21days holidays (raising to 25 with longevity), life and medical insurance and pension scheme
