We are now recruiting for the Manchester office which is based in Altrincham for a Freight Forwarding Air Freight Imports Clerk

Key duties and responsibilities:

* Air Freight Quotations. * Producing all documentation for air freight import shipments. * Completion of customs declarations. * Track shipments. * Follow up on Pre-Alerts * Authenticating supplier invoices. * Completing customer invoicing within revenue recognition policy. * Adding accurate costs to the system to ensure financial reports correct. * Recording correspondence in eDocs. * Dealing with queries, both shipment and invoice. * Promotion of additional services to clients. * Ensuring all internal SOP's are followed correctly. * Awareness of Deferment and Government Gateway accounting procedures. * Ensuring any tasks within Workflow are actioned quickly.
