Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. This is a mobile role where you will be responsible for both service and installation of a variety of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, chillers, boilers, and more. You will work independently or as part of a small team, providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring all systems are working efficiently and to the highest standards.
Air Conditioning Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Service, install, and maintain a range of HVAC systems, including:
Gas Fired Boilers
Oil Fired Boilers
Air Handling Units (AHU)
Chillers and Split A/C Units
VRV/VRF Systems
Pumps, Valves (manual and actuated), and Pipework Systems
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems.
Work with clients in a customer-facing role, delivering excellent service and support.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Complete necessary paperwork, reports, and service logs.
Contribute to the ongoing development of skills and expertise within the team.
Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum of Level 2 F-Gas qualification (essential).
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
Strong knowledge and experience of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems (including chiller systems).
Experience in service and installation works.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, cohesive team.
Must have good computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Prior exposure to M&E building services is advantageous.
Ability to work in a customer-facing environment with a professional demeanor.
A proactive, self-sufficient, and flexible approach to work.
Willingness to continue developing skills and keeping up to date with industry advancements.
