Job Description

AI Transformation Lead, Construction Consultancy

£60,000 to £70,000 per annum

Permanent, Full-Time

London (Hybrid)

A well-established UK construction and property consultancy is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to drive the practical adoption of artificial intelligence and digital innovation across the business.

This newly created role will work closely with senior leadership to turn the organisation’s AI ambitions into measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will identify high-impact opportunities for automation and AI adoption, oversee pilot programmes, and support the effective rollout of tools that enhance efficiency, quality and client service.

Working in partnership with the IT function, the role will focus on strategy, use case development and organisational adoption. You will ensure AI initiatives deliver tangible business value while aligning with existing systems, governance frameworks and data security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an AI and innovation roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Identify and implement AI and automation initiatives across both operational and client-facing teams
  • Lead AI pilot programmes from concept through to deployment and adoption
  • Collaborate with IT to evaluate tools, manage implementation and ensure governance standards are upheld
  • Drive change management and training to support adoption across the organisation
  • Establish and track KPIs, including efficiency gains, quality improvements and risk reduction
  • Support leadership in identifying new AI and data enabled service opportunities

About You

You are an experienced professional with a proven track record of leading AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives within a consultancy, professional services or knowledge-led environment.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, able to identify opportunities, build compelling business cases and guide initiatives from pilot stage through to embedded operational use. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, you can clearly communicate complex technological concepts and build confidence in new ways of working.

Experience working closely with IT teams and cross functional business units is essential, as is the ability to drive cultural change and foster enthusiasm for innovation across an organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a highly visible role shaping how a professional services business adopts and benefits from artificial intelligence. You will play a key role in leading meaningful innovation, working closely with senior leadership and delivering practical improvements to both internal operations and client outcomes.

We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable, and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
