We are looking for a senior Architect to lead the design and governance of our Azure AI Factory. You will be the technical authority responsible for building secure, scalable AI solutions-including Generative AI and Agentic workflows-that solve real business problems.

Core Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into Azure‑ AI solution architectures
Design end‑to‑end architectures using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, ML, data platforms, compute, networking, and
Select and define architecture patterns (RAG, agentic workflows, streaming vs batch, hybrid approaches)
Define non‑functional requirements: security, scalability, performance, cost, availability
Ensure alignment with Azure best practices, security standards, compliance, and governance
Select and validate AI Factory accelerators for suitability and architectural fit
Review and approve technical designs before and during execution
Guide AI Engineers on design intent, trade‑offs, and constraints
Own architectural decision‑making and resolve design‑level risks and blockers
Review solution readiness for UAT and production handover
Support customer technical discussions and build architecture confidence
This role requires the candidate who is already holding active Security Check (SC) clearance in accordance with UK Government standards." Primary skills
Strong communication skills and experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to gain consensus on complex technical solutions
Experience in architecting designing and implementing solutions on-premises in the cloud and using hybrid models
Handson experience in deploying a variety of generative models
Indepth experience in finetuning and customizing pretrained AI models with good understanding of various patterns and practices in AI data engineering and large data processing
Handson in Prompt Engineering Azure Open AI Form Recognizer Cognitive Search Vector Databases
Develop and deliver upskilling sessions to the customer
