We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary AI for Ops, Change Governance leader to play a pivotal role in leading our Ops journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management and Operations Governance. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to drive the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, ethical standards, and operational excellence. This role is located in Manchester, UK will be working on a hybrid basis.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Providing authoritative oversight and strategic challenge to Ops AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance frameworks and industry-leading practices.
- Driving critical evaluation of AI programs to ensure they deliver measurable value, support benefit realisation, and align with evolving Operations priorities.
- Providing thought leadership in the development of an Operations AI Community of Practice, establishing a scalable triage model and a robust credible challenge function.
- Overseeing the governance of the Ops AI Book of Work, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with both operational imperatives and long-term strategic objectives.
- Partnering across Operations platforms and cross-functional teams to define and deliver a comprehensive AI data and performance metrics framework.
- Championing enterprise-wide AI fluency by defining training and awareness initiatives that embed AI governance principles and foster an AI-first culture.
- Embedding an AI-first mindset by driving the digital transformation of the OPS Governance Framework, ensuring it is scalable, adaptive, and future-ready.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Financial Services or Banking background is essential.
- Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks and best practices - AI governance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Background in transforming IT operations, enabling organizations to become more agile, efficient and responsive to changing business needs.
- Experience in translating and deciphering AI and Digital Tools impact and value in business terminology
- Experience in leading or managing business AI solution projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Experience with data visualization and transformation tools such as Power BI, UiPath, or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
