Agile Coach – Contract Opportunity (Outside IR35)

Rate: £550 per day

Duration: 6 months

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid Working)

Our client is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to support multiple teams within a growing Data & Analytics function.

This role will focus on helping teams adopt new ways of working, improving collaboration, supporting delivery, and providing facilitation across a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of Data and AI products alongside Data Science and Data Engineering team
  • Provide Agile coaching and delivery support in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Establish and embed improved Agile ways of working across teams
  • Work with leadership to drive strategic change initiatives
  • Facilitate planning and collaboration across multiple teams
  • Guide teams through organisational growth and transformation
  • Support the development of Agile practices within Data Science teams
  • Contribute to the growth and adoption of AI capabilities (including tools such as Copilot)
  • Transition focus over time from coaching into delivery support

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and techniques
  • Proven experience embedding Agile practices across different team types
  • Ability to apply the most appropriate Agile approaches for context
  • Strong knowledge of Agile software/product development
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement
  • Understanding of digital and data service delivery
  • Experience working with data, AI, or digital product teams
  • Exposure to a range of industries (public sector beneficial but not essential)
  • Interest and experience in data and AI-led initiatives
