Adult Social Care Team Manager

Brent 36 hours per week Initial 4-month contract £42 per hour (Umbrella) (£32 PAYE an hour)

Brent Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager (Community Opportunities) to join their Adult Social Care – Direct Services team on an initial 4-month contract. This is a key leadership role within community-based services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, across day services and supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage team leaders, care/support staff and support staff Oversee the safe and effective delivery of community and day services Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements Manage and develop person-centred support plans and positive behaviour approaches Work closely with service users, families, carers and professionals Monitor service quality, manage risk, and respond to complex situations Manage budgets and contribute to service development and improvementEssential Experience: Significant experience within Adult Social Care, particularly Learning Disabilities and/or Autism Proven management experience within day services, supported living, or community services Strong knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, risk management and positive behaviour support Experience managing staff, performance, and service delivery Ability to work within ...
