Elite Staffing Solutions are working with a fantastic residential care home in Taunton who are looking to recruit an Administration Manager for a key, site-based role within their business. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to step into a pivotal position within a warm, supportive organisation with a real family feel. It’s a full-time, Monday to Friday role, offering a salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience. Benefits also include 33 days holiday including bank holidays, death in service, free on site parking and meals available on site.

This role offers the chance to become a trusted right-hand to the Registered Manager, working closely with them and playing a vital part in the smooth and professional running of the home. It blends administrative management, executive support, compliance oversight, and hands-on administration, making this a varied and highly influential position. The position includes PA support to the Registered Manager, making this a central role in the business and ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations, solving problems, and keeping everything running smoothly.

The Role:

This is a highly admin-focused position, responsible for the efficient running of the home from an administration and governance perspective. Duties will include:

* Acting as the trusted right-hand to the Registered Manager, providing PA and executive support

* Managing day-to-day administration and ensuring smooth office operations

* Supporting onboarding, training, and maintaining employee records

* Booking appointments, meetings, and coordinating diaries

* Attending meetings and taking accurate minutes

* Inputting wages and supporting payroll processes

* Monitoring compliance and maintaining documentation

* Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external queries

* Overseeing reception duties

* Providing general HR support and administrative oversight

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will bring strong organisational and administrative experience, alongside excellent attention to detail and confidence using systems and technology. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously, making decisions, and managing a varied workload, while also being approachable and able to build positive working relationships across the business. Experience in administration management, PA support, or office administration will be highly beneficial. Kindness, emotional intelligence, and professionalism are essential, as is the ability to lead by example and support others effectively.
