Admin Planner – Social Housing / Voids / Reactive Maintenance

Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Portman Close – On-site


About the Role:

Our client, a well-established property services company specialising in social housing, voids, and reactive maintenance, is seeking an experienced Admin Planner to join their team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth coordination between tenants, contractors, and supervisors, helping their operations run efficiently and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting tenants to confirm work dates/times and maintain clear communication.
  • Booking work appointments and scheduling contractors.
  • Using SOR coding for job scheduling and work orders.
  • Issuing purchase orders for materials and managing the company vehicle fleet.
  • Uploading photographic evidence to systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with clients for weekly/monthly updates.
  • Working closely with supervisors to ensure KPIs and deadlines are met.


What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Essential: Admin experience within a Housing Association, Local Council, or similar contractor (e.g., Mears, Wates, Kier).
  • Essential: Proven experience with SOR coding in a social housing setting.
  • Strong computer literacy, including client portals, CRM systems, and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and able to handle changing priorities.
  • Confident communicator, calm when liaising with tenants and contractors.
  • Financial experience with QuickBooks or Xero is advantageous.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ administrative experience (preferably within social housing or facilities management)
  • Experience in SOR coding and job scheduling systems


Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent preferred
