As a key member of the directorate leadership team, you will have an integral role in managing the day‑to‑day operations of the Acute services. You must be a strong leader with experience in managing diverse teams and resources to improve patient outcomes, and you should have a proven track record of service improvement and innovative practice. A passion for community/in‑patient working and experience of community/in‑patient networking is desirable. You’ll also play an active role in shaping our research agenda, supporting staff to publish, present at conferences, and collaborate with internal and external research partners. Responsibilities The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the day‑to‑day delivery of designated clinical services and for ensuring that those teams are performing in terms of patient outcomes, metrics, measures and targets. They are also accountable for making sure that the Trust’s strategy is executed locally and that standards of safety are maintained at all times. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality patient care that is consistent with the values of the organisation.
