We are recruiting for a Trainee Pensions Actuary to embark on a rewarding career path with one of the UK’s leading independent actuarial consultancies. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes, while receiving professional development and support towards your actuarial exams.
What you'll be doing:
Liaising with clients at meetings, by telephone and by e-mail
Monitoring deadlines and requirements on a portfolio of pension schemes
Carrying out all types of actuarial calculations
Drafting and checking standard and bespoke communications
Supporting the Scheme Actuaries directly in all aspects of the role
Helping to develop more junior members of the team.
Skills and Experience:
Experience - from 2 years to 4 years, in a pensions actuarial consulting environment.
Excellent communicator who understands how to express complicated ideas in a concise and clear way.
