This is a rewarding role where youll play a big part in making each day enjoyable, meaningful, and fulfilling for our residents.What Youll Be DoingCreating a varied calendar of activities that reflects our residents interests from arts and crafts to quizzes, gardening, music, gentle exercise, and special events.Supporting residents on minibus trips which can involve personal care.Supporting residents one-to-one as well as in group settings, making sure everyone feels included and valued.Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and friends to really understand what brings them joy.Bringing the local community into the home by arranging visits, outings, and special guests.Working closely with the care team so activities are a natural part of daily life.Completing administration tasks to ensure our record keeping is kept up to date.Working with the team to create visuals for our marketing team of all the amazing work the team does.About YouFriendly, approachable, patient and bursting with enthusiasm.A good communicator who enjoys chatting and listening to peoples stories.Creative with plenty of ideas for fun, stimulating activities.Organised and confident at planning events and encouraging others to get involved.Strong IT skillsAbove all, someone who genuinely cares about making a difference to our residentsBonus points if you have any hidden talents!
