You will support individuals living with dementia and those requiring nursing care, helping to promote their physical, mental and social wellbeing.Key responsibilities include:Planning and delivering a range of stimulating activities tailored to residents' needs and interestsOrganising events such as seasonal celebrations, parties and community activitiesManaging the activities budget and ensuring resources are used effectivelyMaintaining accurate records and documentation in line with requirementsEncouraging participation and building positive relationships with residents and their familiesAbout youYou will be a warm, friendly and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and creating meaningful experiences.You will have:A caring and empathetic approachStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting othersFlexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasksThe ability to work as part of a teamExperience in a similar role is not essential as full training will be provided.About the organisationThis role is based within a well established nursing home located near the historic town of Llandovery, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
