This well-regarded independent firm can boast a diverse and interesting client base across the area and they are now looking to add an ambitious individual to undertake a varied general practice role in which the workload will be focused towards the production of year-end accounts and tax compliance. Responsibilities
Prepare and review year‑end and management accounts for a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across different business sectors. Prepare and file corporation tax computations and returns. Assist with the implementation of Making Tax Digital (MTD), advising clients on compliance. Set up accounting systems, train, review and file quarterly returns, and train and advise other members of staff.

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified (AAT Qualified and Qualified by experience individuals will also be considered). Experience of working in a varied general practice role is essential. Up‑to‑date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards.
