Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Assisting with corporation tax computations and personal tax returns Preparing and reviewing VAT returns Supporting Senior colleagues with more complex work Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and build relationships Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with deadlines
Requirements of the Semi Senior Accountant role include:
Previous UK accountancy practice experience is essential AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experienceSolid understanding of accounts preparation and basic tax Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients Proactive, organised and keen to progress within practice
