Were looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team at an exciting stage in their finance career. You might already have some experience in Accounts Payable, or you could be starting your career after completing relevant studies. This role gives the opportunity to develop your skills, take ownership of meaningful work, and build a strong foundation for your finance career.
Youll play a key role in making sure invoices are processed accurately, prioritised correctly, and paid within agreed terms, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Alongside this, youll be working with suppliers from around the world handling different currencies and contracts, using our reservation and finance systems, and building strong, professional relationships through clear and confident communication.
This is a role that goes beyond processing, youll be trusted to manage priorities, resolve queries, and take a proactive approach to getting things right. This role requires you to be working from our Folkestone office a minimum of 3 times a week. We have designated office space for colleagues in our Travel business, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a function.

Main Responsibilities
Manage the Accounts Payable inbox, organising and prioritising invoice workflow
Process invoices accurately, including matching against booking system data and coding non-contractual costs
Coordinate invoice approvals and ensure timely processing in line with payment terms
Prepare and check supplier payment runs before submission
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
Set up new suppliers in line with company procedures
Handle supplier queries and build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
Support reporting by tracking invoice processing times and ensuring compliance with company policies
The Ideal Candidate
Youll already have some Accounts Payable experience or be at the start of your finance career, with relevant studies and a keen eye for detail, along with the communication skills needed to build strong working relationships.
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role (around 1 year preferred)
Confident using finance systems and able to manage and prioritise your workload effectively
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and resolve issues
Good communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with systems such as Coupa and/or Workday would be an advantage
