Manager – Accounts & Business Advisory Glasgow, Scotland Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to join our clients fantastic team in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, lead and develop a team and contribute to the firm’s continued growth. The Role As a Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients while overseeing the delivery of work across your team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high service standards, driving profitability, and building strong, long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Include * Manage and take full ownership of a client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact * Oversee and support delivery across team portfolios, ensuring quality and efficiency * Plan and manage workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and utilisation targets are met * Deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, with support from senior leadership on complex technical matters * Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive advice and support * Identify and develop new business opportunities, escalating where appropriate * Lead, coach, and mentor junior team members, supporting their development * Work both independently and collaboratively within a wider team * Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outputs and client service About You * ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent) * Proven experience managing a client portfolio within practice * Strong background working with clients across a range of industries * Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and mentoring * Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively What’s on Offer * Hybrid and flexible working options * Opportunity to take on a leadership role with real client ownership * Clear progression pathway within a growing firm * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Additional benefits including professional subscriptions Career Development This role offers strong long-term progression opportunities, including: * Expanding leadership and team management responsibilities * Increased exposure to strategic client advisory work * Potential pathway toward Senior Manager / Director level
