The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all purchase ledger transactions.
- Prepare payment runs and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Handle supplier queries efficiently and professionally.
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
- Support the wider accounting team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
