Accounts Assistant Location: Antrim Job Type: Full-Time 37.5 hours Early finish Fridays! Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our client, Fortress Diagnostics, a leading medical diagnostics manufacturer based in Antrim. The Role: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant with experience in SAP (or Sage) accounting software to join their busy finance team. The successful candidate will support the wider finance function through accurate and timely processing of accounts, reconciliations, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier and customer invoices as part of a team Maintain and reconcile multiple bank accounts across three currencies Perform monthly bank reconciliations Process purchase ledger invoices and match delivery notes and POs Reconcile supplier statements Maintain the Sales Ledger Control account Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and credit card statements Manage credit control Complete VAT returns Assist with month-end and year-end account preparation Maintain accurate customer records Respond efficiently to financial queries Carry out ad hoc finance duties as needed The Requirements: Essential Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office applications Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Experience: Experience using SAP or Sage accounting software Experience in a finance role within a manufacturing or supply-chain environment If this position is of interest to you and you have the relevant experience or believe you can bring value to the role hit apply now.
