We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us on a temporary full time basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. What You’ll Do As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll support the finance function with day-to-day activities, including: * Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses and purchase orders accurately and on time * Supporting month-end tasks, including journals, reconciliations and accrual preparation * Assisting with client invoicing, ensuring billable work is captured and issued correctly * Maintaining accurate financial records and helping prepare internal reports * Handling finance queries from project teams and suppliers, providing excellent service * Monitoring aged debt and assisting with credit control where required * Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes and systems * Contributing to a collaborative finance team and supporting colleagues during peak periods What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator or similar role * AAT part-qualified, or equivalent * Confidence using finance systems and advanced Excel skills - LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables required * Strong numerical skills and attention to detail * A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work to deadlines * Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach * An interest in developing a finance career within a technical consultancy environment Why Praxis?
