Accounts Assistant

Job Location: Poole, Dorset (near Fleetsbridge)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £27,800 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm

We are working with an established & growing company who supply major retail outlets with products and they are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Key responsibilities within this role will include:

* Accounts receivable including cash posting, allocating remittances, requesting payment, sending invoices, requesting debit notes and checking credit notes

* Creating and sending monthly customer statements

* Cash posting and bank reconciliations

* Monitoring shared email inboxes

* Answering telephones and dealing with queries

We are looking for this applicant to possess:

* Previous experience of working within a finance role

* Good use of using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
