Accounts Assistant

The Role
The main duties of the Accounts Assistant role will consist of:
Managing the accounts payable process; inputting invoices, matching purchase orders, statement reconciliations and preparing payments.
Bank reconciliations.
Supporting with month-end tasks such as accruals, prepayments and journals
Processing expenses and petty cash.
Supporting with the sales ledger process.
Assisting with the VAT returns.
Requirements
To be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must ideally have the following experience/skills:
Must ideally have experience within a similar role; a good understand of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ideally an AAT, CIMA, ACCA studier.
Good attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Good team player.
Keen to learn.
Adaptable.
Competent in using Excel.
Salary & Benefits
£26,000 - £30,000 annual salary

Hybrid working; 4 days on site, 1 day from home
25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
