The role involves overseeing the preparation of year-end financial statements, managing high-level reviews of management accounts and VAT returns, and supporting strategic advisory projects. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional service while driving team performance and process improvements. Supervise and review year-end statutory financial statements for varied entities. Conduct high-level reviews of management accounts and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage advisory projects, such as strategic accounting or business support initiatives. Liaise with tax, audit, and compliance departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Support business development and client relationship management efforts. Proven experience in reviewing statutory financial statements and management accounts. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Xero or similar MTD bookkeeping software. Excellent client relationship management skills. Experience with other accounting packages like Sage, QuickBooks, or Oracle. Knowledge of trust, charity, or LLP accounting frameworks. Familiarity with audit support protocols and process improvement initiatives. Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and data analysis. The salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience, with flexible start dates around Q3 2026.
