Our client, based in Bromley is seeking a dynamic Accounts Assistant to become an integral part of their team! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to a vibrant, project-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Accounts Support: Handle supplier invoices, client invoicing, and reconciliations (including bank, staff expenses, credit cards, and foreign currency transactions)
Invoice Accuracy: Carefully check all incoming invoices against records (POs, quotations, and project trackers) with a sharp eye for detail
Onboarding Support: Assist with credit account applications and the onboarding process for suppliers and clients
VAT & Payroll Assistance: Support VAT and payroll processes when required, reducing reliance on one individual
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has strong accounts experience , ideally within the construction sector or a similar field
Is confident working independently in a busy, project-driven setting
Possesses a good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (Xero preferred)
Understands the importance of invoice accuracy and compliance

Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000, depending on your experience.
