You will work closely with the UK finance team and support wider departments with accurate financial reporting and processes.Key responsibilities include:Preparing monthly management accounts and financial forecastsSupporting the year-end audit process, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor queriesMaintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliationsManaging VAT reportingSupporting monthly and annual stock takesMaintaining the fixed asset registerProducing financial analysis and reportsSupporting standard costing processes for product linesSetting up new customer accounts and maintaining existing recordsProducing sales invoices for an overseas entityProcessing employee expenses and company credit card statementsManaging foreign currency petty cashAssisting with monthly payroll processingFull training will be provided where requiredAbout YouWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a busy finance function.Essential:Previous all-round accounts experience, including involvement in producing monthly management accountsAAT qualified, or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or equivalentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detailA collaborative team playerAbility to support colleagues and influence across departmentsStrong Excel skills, including working with intermediate-level spreadsheetsDesirable:Experience using ERP and CRM systemsKnowledge of group or consolidated accountsPayroll experienceIf you are looking for a varied accounting role within a supportive team environment, we would love to hear from you.Interested?
