Interim management accountant | Asset Management Your new company You’ll be joining the UK platform of a global asset management business that forms part of a leading international banking group. The firm has a strong, long-term investment philosophy underpinned by responsible and sustainable investing, and operates within a highly regulated, complex financial services environment. The UK business works closely with international finance teams, senior stakeholders and Group functions, offering genuine exposure to global operations and decision-making.

Your new role Reporting into the UK CFO, this role will support the finance function across a number of UK legal entities, with responsibility covering financial accounting, management reporting, regulatory reporting and finance systems support. Key responsibilities include: Supporting month-end cost reporting, including detailed variance analysis by business area Producing reporting to support Group Management Reporting requirements Providing additional analysis covering revenues, costs, accruals and forecasting Undertaking cost studies to support cost efficiency initiatives and decision-making Responding to ad-hoc analysis requests from budget holders and Group stakeholders Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, regulatory reporting and ICARA documentation Assisting with cash flow monitoring and cash outflows for the UK entities Acting as a key user for Oracle, including support around master data, hierarchies, user access and system changes Supporting ledger migration activity following a recent business integration This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, international finance teams and a mix of BAU reporting and change activity. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial services. You will have strong cost reporting and have previously owned the month-end process.
