A strong emphasis is placed on embedding robust financial controls across all activities to maintain data integrity and compliance. The position requires building and sustaining effective working relationships with Finance Hub (FHub) and business partners, becoming a reliable point of contact known for consistent delivery and measurable support. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, with a focus on identifying and implementing enhancements to financial processes, systems, and working practices to drive operational efficiency and service excellence. About the Role... The global Record to Report team, which is responsible for accurate financial control, accounting, and reporting as per company standards, is the place to start your Merlin career. Collaborating across departments, you'll support financial reporting and promote best practices and process improvement through Visual Management techniques.Your main goals include establishing and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing financial controls and systems, and suggesting operational enhancements. Adhering to accounting policies, you'll ensure timely completion of crucial tasks and manage balance sheet accounts while conducting reviews with Finance hub managers. You'll collaborate closely with key business partners, crafting monthly journals that not only reflect the numbers but also tell a story. As part of our team, you'll be a crucial player in the accurate and timely month-end reports across our global spectrum of legal entities.
