We’re seeking a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) to join a growing family investment company with a diverse portfolio in the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a dynamic business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance and reconciliation of financial records (5 Xero companies)
2. Speak regularly with accounting and management teams at investee companies
3. Maintain an extensive and detailed cash flow that reports actual spend and reforecasts weekly
4. Set up weekly supplier payment runs for approval
5. Respond to ad hoc information requests from Chief Operating Officer and the Chairman
6. Submit VAT returns
7. Payroll
8. Assist Chief Operating Officer with a range of commercial tasks, such as renewing insurance
9. Alongside the extensive & detailed cashflow, maintain individual project budgets vs. actuals & correspond with the project manager, QS etc.
10. Publish and email periodic invoices to tenants & associated companies.
11. Basic HR tasks for example entering details into template contracts and monitoring holidays

About You

1. Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or CA) with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience.
2. Experience in the food, beverage, or property sector preferred.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for operational detail.
4. Confident communicator able to translate financial insight for non-financial teams.
