New Business Account Manager | Outbound Sales

OTE: £40,000 £50,000 (Year One)
Location: Office-Based

The Opportunity

This is a hard-hitting outbound sales role for a proven New Business Account Manager who thrives on targets, call volumes, and closing recruitment agency partnerships.

If you are comfortable spending most of your day on the phone, generating new business, and being measured on activity and results, this role offers clear targets, fast progression, and strong earning potential within a rapidly expanding recruitment and payroll organisation.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Making 50+ outbound calls per day

  • Delivering a minimum of 2 hours talk time per day

  • Generating new recruitment agency referrals via telephone and email outreach

  • Winning new agency relationships outside of the existing account base

  • Targeting recruitment agencies supplying temporary contractors

  • Identifying high-value vertical markets aligned to contractor demand

  • Working to a defined new business strategy with the Key Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager

  • Taking full ownership of agency accounts post-sign-up

  • Driving referral volumes through consistent follow-up and relationship management

  • Managing contractor onboarding in a compliant and efficient manner

  • Attending occasional client meetings and hospitality events

  • Supporting additional sales and growth projects as required

What Were Looking For
  • Proven experience in outbound sales, new business development, or telesales

  • Comfortable with high-volume calling and talk-time targets

  • Background in recruitment, payroll, umbrella, or contractor markets preferred

  • Strong closer mentality with the confidence to ask for the business

  • Commercial, competitive, and resilient mindset

  • Excellent telephone presence and objection-handling ability

  • Organised enough to manage pipeline, follow-ups, and CRM accurately

Earnings & Progression
