As part of the wider Global Asset Protection (GAP) team, Private Clients look after the personal insurance needs of both mid-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals. These include the decision-makers of our corporate clients, numerous members of the Sunday Times ‘Rich List’, and a host of familiar public names. Our service is of the highest and most confidential nature.
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. You will have an excellent client focus and a proven track record of delivering the highest levels of direct client service, with the ability to analyse situations and provide optimal solutions for clients.
The Role
Reporting to the Client Account Management Leader, and working as part of an established team of Account Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with accountability for retention and account development. You will manage and develop existing client relationships and grow the portfolio, providing the appropriate advice and subject matter expertise required to deliver a class-leading service and ensure that we have the right insurances in place to fulfil our clients’ demands and needs.
- Deliver high-quality, confidential client service while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Provide day-to-day client support, including handling queries, advising on cover, and processing policy amendments.
- Prepare and manage London market documentation and submissions using Willis systems.
- Negotiate favorable terms with insurers, independently or in partnership with Account Executives.
- Achieve client retention targets and identify cross-selling, up-selling, and referral opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, FCA principles, Treating Customers Fairly, and collaborate with global support teams to deliver timely service
Qualifications
What you'll bring
Strong Private Client sector experience.
Experience of preparing and using MRCs preferred but not essential.
Strong personal management skills with a proven track record of managing your own workloads and delivering excellent levels of client service.
Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.
Demonstrates exceptional accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
