Accommodation Advisor Salary: £28,755 pa + Benefits Location: Greater Manchester Rebuilding your life after prison is one of the toughest challenges a person can face. We're looking for an Accommodation Advisor to join the team- someone with a rare mix of compassion, resilience, organisation and flexibility. This is for the person who understands that rehabilitation isn't just about offering advice; it's about rolling up your sleeves and proactively supporting individuals on their journey towards securing stable accommodation and rebuilding their lives. About the Role: You'll mainly be based out of the probation office and will work with a caseload of individuals to provide advice and support relevant to their housing needs. You'll carry out initial assessments to understand needs and agree an action plan. This may include support to end/sustain a tenancy, find accommodation or basic budgeting advice. Whilst we don't provide accommodation, we work with organisations that do, and nurturing these relationships is key in this role. You'll travel between your local probation offices and may be required to deliver our service in prisons, meeting people where they are, so no day will be the same and the ability to travel is essential.
