The Appointments Board is a sub-Board of ACCA’s Regulatory Board, which was established by ACCA’s Council in 2008 to place oversight of ACCA’s regulatory arrangements at arm’s length from Council and from ACCA’s other professional body activities. The Appointments Board is responsible: the appointment, assessment, and removal of panel members (including chair), disciplinary assessors, regulatory assessors, and legal advisers (together Panel Members ); and safeguarding the integrity of ACCA’s disciplinary and regulatory process by ensuring there is an appropriate number of experienced Panel Members available at all times.
