About the Role
As Academy Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our Learning Academy. You’ll independently manage and support a range of development programmes, coordinate events, maintain accurate records, and ensure the smooth operation of our learning management systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of our workforce and help shape the future of children’s services in Birmingham.
you will be able to -
- Coordinate and oversee learning programmes, workshops, and training sessions.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage team diaries, shared inboxes, and digital platforms.
- Support programme evaluation and reporting.
- Lead on learner coordination and ensure compliance with governing bodies.
- Use digital tools to streamline training delivery and tracking.
- Organise and document meetings, events, and sensitive communications.
- Assist with financial administration and equipment management.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.
About you:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in office administration.
- Strong ICT skills, including LMS and digital learning tools.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service and team collaboration.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Certificate in keyboarding and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in local government, children’s services, or learning environments.
- Background in coordinating learning and development programmes.
