This leader will own the strategy, structure, and delivery of complex capital and technical projects that directly enable Phoenix to become the global standard for clean mining and metals production. Your work will determine how quickly we move from pilot operations to full-scale industrial deployment — accelerating the availability of critical materials that power modern society. Salary Range: $200,000-$250,000 Responsibilities Own and lead the company-wide project management function, building the systems, discipline, and culture required to execute high-impact capital and technical projects at scaleDrive end-to-end execution of major capital projects, including facility expansion, process scale-up, and new plant developmentEstablish rigorous project governance frameworks, cost controls, scheduling systems, and risk mitigation processes to ensure predictable deliveryOversee capital budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to align project execution with company growth milestonesDevelop standardized project management methodologies tailored to scaling breakthrough industrial technologyBuild and lead a high-performing project management organization capable of supporting rapid expansionEnsure operational readiness by aligning engineering, construction, commissioning, and production ramp-up plansIdentify execution bottlenecks and implement structural improvements to accelerate deployment timelinesPartner with executive leadership to translate strategic growth objectives into executable, milestone-driven project plans Qualifications 12+ years of experience leading large-scale capital or industrial projects, with significant experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, energy, or chemical processingProven track record delivering complex infrastructure or plant build projects from concept through commissioningDeep experience in capital planning, cost controls, scheduling (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and risk management frameworksExperience building and scaling project management organizations in high-growth environmentsStrong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million or billion-dollar capital budgetsAbility to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-moving startup environmentBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred) Benefits Healthcare, we care about you and your family: 100% Medical, dental, and vision coverageStock: Ownership in a fast-growing venture-backed company.Family Focus: Parental leave and flexibility for families.Time Off: Flexible vacation policy to encourage people to get out and see the world.Team Fun: Regularly scheduled events, and celebrations.Learning: Learning and development opportunities to grow your skills and career.Great team: Working with fun, hard-working, kind people committed to making a difference!Flexible culture: We are results-focused.
