Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for 10 x HGV C1 7.5t Driver.
Starting 1st of May.
Solvit Recruitment are recruiting for a local authority for 10 x C1 Driver to assist with the introduction of Food Waste Collection Service which is launching in July 2026.
This Role will be starting on 1st May for 6-8 weeks.
This role will involve delivering food caddies to residents in a timely manner, you will have a drivers mate with you.
Throughout the months of May and June, every house will be provided with free food waste caddies including a compact 7-litre indoor caddy designed for use inside the home and a larger 23-litre outdoor caddy for transferring waste.

Hours of work.
Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00. Friday you may have an earlier finish.
Pay
You will be paid £16.88 with rolled up holiday pay included.

Requirements.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Understand Health & Safety.
Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
Excellent communication oral and written.
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
HGV 7.5t (c1) experience.
No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
