We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working 7.5 Tonne Driver to join a well-established, family-run business based in Leicester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent work and competitive pay.
Key Details: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend shifts required)
Start times: Between 04:30am 07:00am
Finish time: Around 6:00pm
45-minute break daily
Weekly pay
Must be flexible with occasional weekend work
Pay Rates: £14.70 per hour (standard rate)
Saturdays: Time and a half
Sundays: Double pay
The Role: Long-distance, nationwide driving
Typically 13 deliveries per day across the UK
510 collections in the Leicester area during the afternoon
Use of powered pump truck and forklift for loading/unloading
Occasional nights out (particularly for Scotland runs)
End-of-day duties include light vehicle preparation for the next shift
What Were Looking For: A hard-working and flexible attitude towards hours and workload
Willingness to work occasional weekends and nights out
Experience with multi-drop and long-distance driving preferred
Comfortable using handling equipment such as pump trucks (forklift experience beneficial)
A team player who takes pride in their work
