Overview

Flexible People Ltd is recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well‑known client based in Avonmouth, Bristol. This role offers a fantastic opportunity within a multi‑national organization with potential for growth.

Responsibilities

Work with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods such as TVs, flat‑pack furniture, gym equipment, and white goods to residential properties using a "room of choice" style. Operate across a 7‑day week on a 5 or 6‑day rota, with shift timings starting at 06:00 and lasting roughly 8–10 hours. New drivers will undergo a driving assessment, a multiple‑choice Highway Code/Tacho exam, and an induction day. Drug testing may be conducted at any time, including at assessment.

Qualifications

  • Valid UK driving licence with CPC and Digitacho
  • No more than 6 points on licence; no DD, DR or NI convictions
  • Physical fitness – able to lift heavy goods and meet product weight requirements
  • Own steel‑toe safety boots and high‑vis vest
  • Reliable, organised, with strong communication and customer‑service skills
  • Newly qualified drivers are welcome

Compensation & Schedule

Pay rate: £17.86 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). Overtime rate: £23.16 per hour. Weekend work is involved. The company operates 7 days a week on a 5 or 6‑day rota.
