Grafters Recruit are recruiting for several 7.5 tonne drivers for our client in Snodland Kent BENEFITS:
-£16.20 per hour

DUTIES:
Start times around 6am
Hit the road as part of a 2-person delivery crew , as a 7.5t Customer Delivery and Installation team playing a critical role in achieving our purpose of helping everyone enjoy amazing technology. Not only will you be safely delivering, installing and collecting of a range of electrical products into our customers homes, which include White Goods, Televisions and cookers you will be the face of Currys and help us become a market leader by providing unrivalled customer service.
Deliver with careplacing items in the correct room and assisting with assembly
Keep customers informed and happy with clear communication and excellent service
Handle all delivery paperwork using a PDA device and make sure everything runs smoothly
Carry out vehicle checks, keep your lorry clean, and drive safely and professionally.
What Were After
A valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence
CPC and digital tachograph card
Previous 7.5T commercial driving experience
Comfortable with lifting and handling large, heavy furniture
A team player with a can-do, customer-first mindset
Knowledge of driver hours/tachograph compliance
Experience using PDA scanners is a bonus
6 months experience on 7.5 is preferred but new passes are accepted
Rate of pay is £16.00 per hour.
5 shifts from 7 days, will include weekend days a part of rota.
