Job Description:
Are you a skilled 7.5-ton driver seeking flexible work opportunities in Warrington? Join our Careermakers and become part of our dynamic team, providing essential transportation services without the need for a long-term commitment. We are currently seeking reliable drivers to support our operations in and around Preston, offering competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods and packages to various locations within Preston and the surrounding areas.
Follow designated routes and adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues promptly.
Handle packages with care, ensuring they are loaded and unloaded securely to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any deviations from the planned route or schedule.
Up to 20 stops.
Monday - Friday, 9am start.
Requirements:
Valid UK driving license with category C1 entitlement for 7.5-ton vehicles.
Proven experience as a 7.5-ton driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
CPC and Tacho
We offer competitive pay at a rate of £15.07 per hour + 28 days of paid holiday per year
