From contemporary designs to timeless classics, they pride themselves on offering products that reflect the very best in craftsmanship and character.\n\nTHE ROLE\n\nVehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness\n\t\nDaily route planning and control of delivery documentation\n\t\nSafe loading and unloading of furniture to customer properties and warehouses\n\t\nCommunication with customers, stores and warehouses\n\t\nSome furniture assembly in customer properties\n\t\nCollection of returns and recycled furniture\n\t\nPlan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention\n\t\nLiaise with customers to confirm delivery times\n\t\nEnsure furniture is unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer’s properties\n\t\nMaintain vehicle to the legal requirements and as outlined in the Driver’s handbook\n\t\nAdhere to health and safety rules and regulations\n\t\nOther reasonable duties within the job holder’s capabilities\n\nTHE CANDIDATE\n\nA Class C1/C license, digital tachograph card\n\t\nCPC qualified\n\t\nYou must be self-motivated and hardworking\n\t\nExcellent communication skills\n\t\nExperience of multi-drop deliveries within the furniture industry would be advantageous\n\t\nA flexible approach to working hours including being able to work overtime\n\t\nAble to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team\n\nTHE CONTACT\n\nTo apply for this position, please contact the Industrial team on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
