HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver
to join our well-established client based in
Wednesbury, West Midlands . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress. Shifts •
Monday to Friday
•
Start times between 08:00 and 11:00 Rates of Pay •
£13.00 per hour Benefits •

Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties •
Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
•
Operating and driving 7.5 tonne (C1) vehicles safely and efficiently
•
Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
•
Using your own device as a scanner via an app (phone must have NFC such as Apple/Google Pay)
•
Scanning parcels and loading / unloading as required
•
Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
•
Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
•
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
•
Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required Essential Skills •
Valid UK Category C1 driving licence
•
Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C1 vehicles
•
Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
•
No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes
•
Good level of spoken and written English
•
Punctual with excellent time-keeping
•
Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
•
Effective communication skills Desirable Experience •
Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
•
Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided •
Training provided on the first day
•
