My client is on a phenomenal growth phase and looking to add exceptional talent to its team based in Hamilton.
They have managed to deliver massive infrastructure projects to both public and private sector clients through their state-of-the-art, tier 3 data centre facilities.
Please note this role is an initial 12 month fixed term role, however, will very likely become permanent.
Role overview
This role is focused on enterprise storage and backup platforms, supporting both traditional SAN environments and modern data-protection solutions within a hosted infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Operate and support enterprise storage platforms
Support SAN environments including zoning and connectivity
Implement and manage backup and recovery platforms
Support platform onboarding, migrations and lifecycle activities
Troubleshoot performance, capacity and availability issues
Work with vendors and third parties where required
Required experience
Strong experience with enterprise storage platforms
Solid understanding of SAN architecture and operations
Experience supporting backup and recovery platforms
Desirable experience
Brocade and HPE SAN switching
Dell Unity storage
HPE Alletra and HPE GreenLake
NetBackup and/or Cohesity
