SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for experienced 3.5 t Delivery Van Driver in Skipton, Permanent Position.
About The Role
* You`ll be out on the road, driving one of our 3.5-tonne vans and working alongside an assistant to fulfil their high-quality delivery service.
* You`ll be hands-on in this physical role alongside your driver assistant.
* You will have an excellent customer service manor
To Apply You Must Have
* Confident driver: We`ll need you to have a current valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points minimum.
* People-first: You will have a friendly and personable nature, with a passion for great service and making our customers happy!
* Experience: Previous 3.5T van driving experience is a must, and it would be super handy if you also had some knowledge of home delivery services.
* Experienced VAN driver is essential minimum of 2 year’s plus
* Excellent communication & customer service
* Must be able to lift and carry crates of milk, vegetables and other produce
* Reliability is obviously key!
We would also like
* Forklift licence desirable.
* Own transport required.
* LWB vehicle experience preferred.
* Full UK licence required.
* DBS checks may need to be carried out.
* Reliability is key!
Working Times & Hours
Reports to: Operations Director/Transport Manager
Hours: Full Time 40hrs per week > 03:00 – 11:30 (30-minute unpaid break)
Days: 5 days from 6 – Monday to Saturday (Every Sunday off) + 1 x rota day
Wage: £27,560.00 per Annum £530 per week paid each Friday
