To assist the Deputy Head of Procurement & Commodity Manager in the execution of a comprehensive procurement service to NHS Lothian, with a particular emphasis on developing Business Assurance systems to optimise savings, ensure a robust inbound supply chain and other value dividends through business improvement and governance. To develop associated Planning and Management Information systems that clearly link commodity strategy to commodity spend and which have predictive modelling capability. To govern the implementation of National Procurement (NP) contracts, ensuring compliance and delivery of savings. To manage all tendering activity in a fully compliant manner.
