Job Summary We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis de Partie (CDP) to join our esteemed 2AA Rosette restaurant team. This role offers live-in accommodation, providing an excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to develop their skills within a prestigious dining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
Support the senior kitchen team in meal preparation and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and ordering as required
Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional working environment
Serve dishes to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or within a professional kitchen environment
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of presentation and quality
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Passion for cuisine and eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills
