The pupil responds well to positive reinforcement, clear boundaries and routine.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nProviding consistent 1:1 support in and out of the classroom\nSupporting emotional regulation and behaviour management\nUsing positive reinforcement strategies to encourage engagement\nAdapting learning tasks to suit individual needs\nSupporting transitions and unstructured times\nWorking closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external specialists\nRecording progress and contributing to review meetings\nEnsuring the child feels safe, supported and understoodThis role requires patience, emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n\nExperience supporting children with ASD and behavioural needs\nA strong understanding of positive behaviour strategies\nExperience in a 1:1 SEND TA or similar role\nA calm, consistent and resilient approach\nExcellent communication skills\nThe ability to build trust and strong relationships\nA genuine passion for SEND and inclusionThis role would suit someone with a background in SEND, education, youth work, care or behavioural support.\n\nPay & Progression\n\n£100-£110 per day PAYE\nPay review at Week 12 based on performance and commitment\nLong-term opportunity within a supportive schoolWhy Work with SANZA Teaching Agency?\n\nSANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be recognised as one of the UK's Top 100 Companies to Work For.
