1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - South London - £95-£115 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a pupil with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning and develop confidence in the classroom.

The Role: As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a pupil requiring additional support, both academically and emotionally. You will play a key role in implementing tailored strategies and promoting engagement throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs Support learning activities and adapt work to meet individual needs Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO Monitor progress and provide feedbackThe Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs) Patient, calm, and resilient approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsThe School Offers:
